Mark L. Kinsel, DVM, MS, PhD Chief Executive Officer |
Dr. Kinsel has a long history of experience with agricultural production systems. Raised on a beef cow-calf ranch in southeastern Washington state, Dr. Kinsel earned his Bachelors degree in Animal Science (Beef Production), his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, and his Masters degree in Epidemiology from Washington State University. He earned his PhD degree in Animal Health Economics from the University of Minnesota. From 1995 to 1999, Dr. Kinsel was a member of the faculty of the University of Idaho’s Caine Veterinary Teaching Center, serving as head of the Dairy Production Medicine program.
During his career, Dr. Kinsel has consulted with over 300 agricultural enterprises, written portions of 3 textbooks, published over 100 scientific and lay articles, and has given more than 150 invited talks on information management at regional, national, and international meetings. He currently holds faculty positions as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, Adjunct Professor of Dairy Management, New Mexico State University, and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Animal Health Economics in the Department of Clinical Studies, Center for Animal Health and Productivity, School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kinsel is the 2009 recipient of the Washington State University Department of Animal Science Distinguished Service Award. |

With over 25 years of software, engineering and product development experience, Dan Ohlemacher provides a unique set of skills that help businesses ‘bridge the gap’ between technology and marketing.
Dan is President and founder of AVALAR, an Internet development firm specializing in customized e-commerce and database intensive applications. Web sites developed by AVALAR feature SitePilot, a unique customized management utility that allow a ‘layperson’ to easily manage, maintain and update their web site content. AVALAR is the developer of many web sites including this one.
He has created and developed numerous products for the personal computer industry including personal information managers, email systems, laser printers, fax/printer servers, and computer telephony software and hardware. Besides his technical expertise in the wide array of Internet Technologies, Dan has a portfolio of skills including MS Windows development, local area networks, application servers, PC peripherals, and embedded firmware design.
Prior to founding AVALAR, Dan was Technical Marketing Manager for Intel’s prestigious Intel Architecture Labs in Hillsboro Oregon. While at Intel, he managed the introduction of new Internet technologies to the software development community.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Colorado. |
